This page lists the cookies and browser-storage keys used by the LeadGuard website, the dashboard and the LeadGuard site tag. It supplements the Privacy Policy.

1. Summary

The LeadGuard website and dashboard use only essential cookies and browser storage needed to sign you in, keep the interface working and remember your display preferences. There is no marketing analytics, advertising, heatmap or session-replay tracking on the LeadGuard website itself. Because no non-essential tracking is present, LeadGuard does not currently display a cookie-consent banner on its own site.

2. Scope

This page covers two distinct surfaces:

  1. Storage set by the LeadGuard website (leadguard.upweb.com) and the LeadGuard dashboard.
  2. Storage set by the LeadGuard site tag when a customer installs it on their own website.

3. LeadGuard site and dashboard storage

The LeadGuard website and dashboard use standard essential browser storage for authentication, session management, security controls and user preferences such as theme, table sort order and dismissed banners. Payment-related storage is set directly by Stripe when you visit the Stripe-hosted checkout or customer portal, and is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.

4. Site tag storage on customer sites

When a customer installs the LeadGuard site tag on their website, the tag stores small pseudonymous identifiers in the visitor's browser so that repeated visits and pathway interactions can be attributed consistently to the same anonymous browser and session. Details of what the tag records and does not record are in Site Tag and Visitor Data.

The customer is the controller of that storage on their website and is responsible for the notices and any consent controls that apply on that site.

5. Controlling storage

You can clear cookies and browser storage at any time using your browser's settings. Clearing LeadGuard dashboard storage will sign you out. Clearing storage on a customer website that runs the LeadGuard site tag will reset the pseudonymous identifiers the tag has recorded for that browser.

6. If we add non-essential tracking

If LeadGuard later introduces non-essential marketing analytics, advertising pixels, heatmaps, session replay, optional behavioural tracking or non-essential embedded widgets on its own website, we will publish a consent interface that meets applicable requirements and update this page before those technologies are enabled.
